I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Eastern Finland working in the field of neuroscience, with a focus on human brain organoids, neuroimmunology, and Alzheimer’s disease. My research aims to develop advanced human cortical organoid models integrated with iPSC-derived microglia to investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration.

My work combines stem cell biology, nanomedicine, advanced microscopy, proteomics, and 3D image analysis to study neuron–glia interactions, amyloid pathology, synaptic dysfunction, and neuroinflammatory responses. I am also interested in engineering next-generation programmable neuroimmune organoids by integrating synthetic biology and computational approaches to improve disease modeling, drug discovery, and precision medicine.

My broader research interests include brain organoids, microglial biology, neurodegenerative diseases, synthetic biology, nanotechnology, biomaterials, and advanced imaging.
