My PhD thesis deals with tropical forest restoration and how the restoration affects to food webs and biodiversity. I study how fruit-feeding butterfly (belonging to family Nymphalidae) and tree communities are recovering in a large-scale restoration area in Kibale National Park, Uganda. Active restoration has taken place since 1995, and this has created an interesting age gradient of the restored forests.
