Project Researcher, Innokomp-project

Henriikka Vartiainen has PhD in Education. Her doctoral thesis focusing on Design-oriented pedagogy received The Doctoral Dissertation Award 2014 by The Finnish Educational Research Association (FERA). She also received the Young Researcher Award of the UEF in 2015. Currently she works as a University Lecturer at UEF and as a responsible researcher in several educational projects focusing on, for example, co-teaching in maker pedagogy (Innokomp), multidiciplinary and international learning networks (Openbio, Digifor) and machine learning in design-oriented pedagogy (Machine Learning for kids).
