Institutional ethnography on teachers’ work with documents in the era of educational reforms
The increased writing and documentation obligations have aroused opposition among teachers and sparked a broad social debate about the excessive bureaucratization of teaching. The RESISTANCE project examines the work of teachers and explicates the consequences of documentalization in education. With multidisciplinary investigation across education, social and health care sectors, and the supervisory authorities in the education sector, we create novel understanding of the documented work of teachers’ and develop research methodology.
