Social law is a field of law that includes legal norms that regulate social security. In this context, social security is understood to be broader than just financial security and it also includes social and health services. Social law has close connections to the field of administrative law and social policy.

In the social law research group, we study various social law themes, from basic and human rights issues regarding social security to the organization of social and health services. Our research is closely connected to our teaching.

We are interested in multidisciplinary cooperation, which we have done with various parties. We have had the strongest research connections with the social sciences.
