Research related to gender, sexuality, and equality is conducted in different faculties, schools, and departments of the University of Eastern Finland. The Gender Studies Network at the University of Eastern Finland SUVEF brings togehter researchers and teachers across disciplines whose work is connected to Gender Studies and/or Feminist Studies in one way or another. The network also works as a platform for strengthening Gender Studies discipline at the university and in the society at large.
