Continuous learning in working life (JATKOT)
Leaders
The research group ”Continuous Learning in the Workplace (JATKOT)” views adult learning, expertise, and creativity as the foundation for the renewal of organizations and, consequently, for the competitiveness of Finland. The group’s interdisciplinary and methodical examination focuses on various aspects, including the identification and development of expertise in career transitions, creative agency in the context of digital transformation, the significance of psychological safety and communal learning in organizational strategic work, self-directedness, and the construction of motivation in work learning situations, as well as leadership in learning that promotes well-being. The research group aims to deepen and diversify the understanding of continuous learning as part of working life and the everyday operations of organizations.
